The Cumberland County American Rescue Plan Committee announced the Small Business Economic Assistance Program application deadline is March 31 at 5 p.m.
110 applications have been submitted so far, resulting in more than $5.4M in funding requested. The Board of Commissioners originally allocated $3.5M for the program at the Jan. 18 meeting earlier this year.
The American Rescue Plan Committee has also approved the application review guidelines that outline the qualifications and considerations for applications that will be reviewed by the committee before awards are given.
Cumberland County has received 54 proposals, totaling $22.7M from non-profit organizations as part of the Request for Proposals process. The Board of Commissioners allocated $2.5M in funding for nonprofits in recovering from the impacts of COVID-19.
