MEREDITH GRONSKI, the occupational therapy department chair at Methodist University was selected to join the Roster of Fellows through the American Occupational Therapy Association.
“For all my OT and OTA friends who will be in San Antonio next month, I look forward to celebrating you!” Gronski said in a LinkedIn post. “Special thanks to my colleague who has been a champion for my successes along the way and nominated me for this award!”
According to its website, AOTA “represents more than 230,000 occupational therapists, occupational therapy assistants, and occupational therapy students in the United States and beyond, to advance occupational therapy practice, education, and research.”
The organization’s Roster of Fellows acknowledges the “knowledge, expertise, leadership, advocacy, and/or guidance” of occupational therapists that have led to them influencing the profession “with a measured impact on consumers of occupational therapy services and/or members of the Association.”
Gronski has served in her position at Methodist University since 2016 and has been an occupational therapist in Cumberland County Schools
since 2017; she has been in the field of occupational therapy since 2006, according to her LinkedIn.
