FTCC Board of Trustees forms committee, prepares to collect input for search of new school president

The Fayetteville Technical Community College Board of Trustees has put together a President Search Committee to begin the process of finding a new president to take over for Dr. J. Larry Keen next year.

Keen is retiring on January 1, 2023.

The committee is composed of the Board of Trustees at FTCC, faculty, staff, and the student body. Input from the community will be documented by surveys and public forums to collect the qualifications and characteristics of an ideal candidate.  

The forums will take place in late April. These events will be held at the Cumberland Hall Auditorium at 2215 Hull Road on FTCC's Fayetteville campus. 

The schedule is as follows:

Tuesday, April 26, 10:30 a.m.-noon

Wednesday, April 27, 2:30-4 p.m.

Thursday, April 28, 6-7 p.m.

There will also be one forum held at the Spring Lake Campus at 171 Laketree Boulevard on Thursday, April 28, 6:00 - 7:00 p.m.
