Phortified Skin and Hair Studio to open on Legion Road

Phortified Skin and Hair Studio is preparing for its grand opening on April 2. A multicultural salon, the studio will offer services for all skin and hair types. The salon includes an esthetician stylist, barbers, a massage therapist, and a permanent makeup artist. 

Located at 3035 Legion Road in Suite 105, founder Kasia Howard wanted to focus on two groups of people: those suffering from acne and those suffering from alopecia. From personal experience in these matters, Howard wants people under her care to have their self-esteem renewed. 

"There are not many industries outside of the medical field that allow us to have physical contact with the public,” said Howard. “I realized that the gift of touch, whether it be a skin or hair service, can have a lasting, positive, effect on a person. I absolutely love being able to serve in this capacity. Educating my guests and helping them achieve their skin and hair goals is the reward within itself.”

Howard is a licensed esthetician and natural hair care specialist and serves as a hair loss practitioner, with certifications from the United States Trichology Institute and the American Medical Certification Association.

The Women's Business Center of Fayetteville will host the grand opening from 1- 4 p.m on April 2.
