Murchison Road has gained a new restaurant featuring fresh and healthy options.
The Women’s Business Center of Fayetteville will host a ribbon-cutting ceremony for The Salad Box on May 5 at 10 a.m.
The Salad Box is named after its simple menu with an array of salad options with fresh ingredients. Customers also have the option of building their own salads.
The Salad Box’s parking lot will have an area just for food trucks called “The Food Truck Park.” This area is open for all food trucks to pay a daily fee to set up, with a sitting area available for customers.
Owner and operator Tonya McNeil has been an entrepreneur in the Fayetteville area since 2015 when she opened the NZone Sports Bar which now has three locations.
McNeil decided to open her new restaurant after noticing the lack of variety in healthy lunch options around Fayetteville for residents to eat at. Located at 3421 Murchison Road Ste. A, McNeil hopes that The Salad Box will inspire the community to make healthier choices when it comes to their diets.
