Fayetteville Area Habitat for Humanity celebrates supporters, new construction with fundraiser party

By Staff Report, posted May 10, 2022 on BizFayetteville.com

The Fayetteville Area Habitat for Humanity will host a BBQ fundraiser party at Sweet Valley Ranch on June 26 at 4 p.m.

The fundraiser, named Framing the Future,  is a celebration of and tribute to the donors, supporters, and volunteers of the Fayetteville Area Habitat for Humanity.

The FAHFH began construction of the Oakridge Estates Community in Cumberland County with 47 newly constructed homes for families in 2019. Nine of the homes belong to veterans and 15 are designated to families impacted by Hurricanes Matthew and Florence.

The development is scheduled to be completed in late June.

For those wanting to attend the Framing the Future event, tickets for individuals can be purchased for $100 for individuals. The event features a live performance by the Throwback Collaboration Band, with Mountaire Farms grilling the food.
