Local restaurant to permanently close its doors

After being open for less than a year, The Bourbon Orleans restaurant will be closing its doors. 

Located at 114 Gillespie Street in Fayetteville, the upscale restaurant specialized in providing the community with authentic Cajun and Creole Cuisine, with the atmosphere mirroring that of the heart of New Orleans. 

Owned by New Orlean natives, it was their goal to make sure beignets, pasta dishes, salads, chargrilled oysters, and more brought new and unique favors to downtown Fayetteville. 

The owners plan to move out of state and to not reopen the restaurant, they announced in a recent Facebook post. They plan to sell their equipment and accessories; people interested in purchasing the equipment can message the restaurant’s Facebook page.
