Cape Fear Valley Health Foundation announced that it raised over $70,000 with its inaugural Step Up 4 Health & Wellness Expo.

Sponsored by Cumulus Media and Systel Business Equipment, the event successfully held its Ribbon Walk, in order to support patient care areas at CFVH, including cancer care, children’s services, heart care, Community Alternatives Program, Cumberland County Medication Access Program, and pediatric endocrinology.

We are so grateful for all those who supported the Step Up 4 Health & Wellness Expo this year in Festival Park,” said Vice President of the Foundation Sabrina Brooks. “We enjoyed gathering our community together while fundraising and also sharing the amazing services Cape Fear Valley Health has to offer.”

Over 500 people registered to participate in the event.

In addition to the Ribbon Walk, event attendees were able to learn more about Cape Fear Valley services at its wellness expo sponsored by Cape Fear Valley Health and Gill Security Systems. There were over 60 vendors in attendance to provide free health screenings, wellness information and giveaways.

Those that attended the Expo also enjoyed various food trucks, music and sponsor tables.
