
The Fayetteville Fury Soccer Club is excited to announce the addition of Errol Cumberbatch to their coaching staff. He will be Head Coach for their United Premier Soccer League (UPSL) teams.
Errol is a seasoned Army Veteran with over 20 years of service, Errol brings a wealth of experience, passion and a proven track record of success to the club.
Errol’s love for soccer was ignited at a young age, a passion that was further fueled by the 1994 World Cup. His journey in soccer spans roles as a player, coach and referee, showcasing his comprehensive understanding and dedication to the sport.
Transitioning from player to coach, Errol embarked on a mission to hone his coaching skills, earning several licenses and certifications through the United States Soccer Federation. His commitment to player development and team success was evident when he led a newly formed team to win a National Tournament, a testament to his leadership and strategic planning abilities.
In 2018, Errol played a critical role as an assistant coach at the All-Army Soccer Trial Camp, contributing to the selection and training of athletes for the annual Armed Forces Championships. His coaching philosophy and techniques have propelled multiple players to higher levels of competition, including NCAA Div 1 soccer and international military sports events.
Most recently, Errol has demonstrated his coaching excellence in the First Flight League and the UPSL, where he led his team to a semi-final appearance in their inaugural season. His modern coaching approach, combined with his experience and commitment to the sport, aligns perfectly with Fayetteville Fury’s mission to develop soccer talent and promote the game.
With Errol at the helm, the Fayetteville Fury Soccer Club looks forward to fostering a culture of excellence, inclusivity, and success.
