Cape Fear Valley Health Attracts Top Providers with Excellent Benefits

Sponsored Content provided by Ashley Dowless - Corporate Director for Provider Recruitment, Cape Fear Valley Health

Offering competitive salaries, attractive benefits, and the potential for signing bonuses, Cape Fear Valley Medical Center is actively recruiting for all types of physicians, advanced practice providers, nurses, and other medical staff to work at hospitals and clinics across the Cape Fear Valley Health (CFVH) system.

CFVH offers providers the opportunity to be part of one of the best health care teams in the region. Our health system is thoughtful and deliberate about service expansions and staffing choices to set up our team members for success. We also invest in the top equipment and technology to support our staff and ensure that team members have ample opportunities for professional development.

We offer a congenial and transparent recruitment process that includes the opportunity for candidates to meet a range of staff during site visits. Many of our candidates and new hires comment on how warmly they were welcomed by our staff, which feels like a family.

The recruitment process generally begins with leadership identifying a staffing need with the launch of a new service line or other expansion. We market these opportunities on our website and on job boards. Initial screenings take place through telephone interviews, and the second-round interviews typically happen through a WebEx meeting with the department, where the candidate can receive detailed information on departmental and clinical operations.

The next round of interviews happens face-to-face, with our recruiting department helping to coordinate travel, customized tours of the area, real estate connections, introductions to health system staff, and more. For candidates with families, we also include assistance connecting spouses with jobs as well as tours of local schools and children’s extra-curricular activities. When the time comes, we even help the candidate negotiate their contract.

Our recruitment team is very busy, hosting as many as 10 candidate site visits per week. We would love for you or a qualified provider you know to be one of these applicants! We also host regular virtual recruiting events for a variety of positions. Find a calendar of these recruitment events at this link: https://www.capefearvalley.com/careersx/events.aspx

Our CFVH recruitment team enjoys supporting not only the health system, but the entire community. Bringing new providers to the Fayetteville area means expansion of CFVH capacity to ensure our residents can receive top-quality medical care on demand without leaving the area. Recruitment also translates to local economic growth in terms of real estate purchases and infrastructure and school investments funded by taxes.

In closing, our recruitment team loves welcoming new providers to our health center family and helping them succeed. View our current job opening on our website and put in your application:
