CCS’ Career and Technical Education Coordinator, Taneka Williams has been named the Sandhills Region CTE Administrator of the Year. This accolade acknowledges her work and dedication to advancing CTE programs within the district. Her leadership extends beyond the district as she recently concluded her tenure as president of the NC Association of Career and Technical Education Administration Division. Looking ahead, she will serve as the NC CTE Foundation President for the 2024-2025 school year.

Additionally, Sean Garcia, a CTE teacher at Gray's Creek High School, was honored as the South Central Regional Agriculture Teacher of the Year. His dedication to teaching in the field of agriculture has earned him recognition within the educational community.
