Military Missions In Action welcomes Natalie Collorafi as regional community manager for the Sandhills

Military Missions In Action (MMIA), a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting Veterans, active-duty service members and their families with offices in Wake and Moore Counties, is pleased to announce the hiring of Natalie Collorafi as the new regional community manager for the Sandhills region.

Collorafi brings a deep commitment to public service and a strong background in nonprofit management, government administration and military service. Originally from Lawrence, Kansas, she has spent her career working to support veterans and their families. She holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Kansas State University and a Master of Science in public administration from the University of Kansas, graduating in 2022.

In addition to her civilian career, Collorafi serves as a health services administration officer in the U.S. Army Reserve with the 396th Medical Command in McLeansville, NC. Prior to joining MMIA, she lived in Colorado, where her husband was stationed, and gained valuable experience in nonprofit and government sectors.

“Natalie’s passion for serving the Veteran community, combined with her extensive experience in nonprofit and military service, makes her an excellent fit for our team,” said Greg Gebhardt, Executive Director at Military Missions In Action, in a press release. “We are excited to have her on board and look forward to the positive impact she will bring to the Sandhills region.”

Collorafi shared her enthusiasm for joining MMIA, stating in a press release, "I am honored to be part of an organization that is making such a meaningful difference in the lives of Veterans and their families. I look forward to working alongside the MMIA team and engaging with the community to further our mission of service and support."

Board Chairman Brent Orr highlighted the growth of MMIA with the addition of Natalie, stating in a press release: "As our organization continues to expand, it is vital to bring on dedicated and skilled individuals like Natalie who share our passion for serving veterans. Her expertise and enthusiasm will undoubtedly strengthen our impact in the Sandhills region and beyond."
