Fayetteville Regional Airport is proud to recognize Jerome Coaxum and Joseph Legg for earning professional certifications through the American Association of Airport Executives (AAAE).
AAAE is a leading professional organization dedicated to the education, training and professional development of airport employees. The certification programs provide aviation professionals with specialized knowledge and industry-specific training that can be applied directly to the work they do every day.
Coaxum recently earned his ACE Airport Finance Certification. The program provides comprehensive training in the financial operations of commercial service and general aviation airports and is grounded in federal regulations, aviation industry research and generally accepted financial practices. Through the program, Coaxum gained a deeper understanding of the relationship between airport management, operations and financial decision-making.
Legg earned his Airport Security Coordinator (ASC) Certification. The program provides specialized training in TSA security regulations, Airport Security Program requirements, access control, security compliance and incident response. Legg will apply this knowledge by supporting FAY’s security compliance, strengthening coordination with TSA and law enforcement partners and helping maintain a safe and secure environment for our passengers, employees and airport operations.
Achievements like these reflect the value of continued learning and professional development within the aviation industry.
