
The Cumberland County Board of Commissioners will hold a public hearing for the Fiscal Year (FY) 2027 Budget on Monday, June 1, at 9 a.m. and at 7 p.m. in Room 118 of the Judge E. Maurice Braswell Cumberland County Courthouse, located at 117 Dick St., Fayetteville.
The hearing is an opportunity for residents to share feedback on the proposed budget, which will be presented by County Manager Clarence Grier on May 21. Community input is a critical part of the budget process, and the Board encourages public participation.
Residents who wish to speak at the public hearing must sign up before the start of the meeting. A sign-up sheet will be available in Room 118. Individuals may also sign up in advance by:
Per North Carolina general statute 159-13, the Board may adopt the FY2027 budget no earlier than 10 days after it is presented.
