Ganesh C. Bora, PhD, is Associate Vice Chancellor of Research and Innovation and Chief Research Officer at Fayetteville State University. Dr. Bora is establishing an effective, responsive, and productive infrastructure for research at FSU as well as implementing a comprehensive research agenda for increasing externally funded and internally funded research productivity at FSU. Dr. Bora focuses on research and programs that meet the needs of the community, local industry, region, and the global economy through partnerships with entities such as the U.S. Department of Defense, NIH, NASA, USDA, Department of Education, and Department of Homeland Security. Dr. Bora received his PhD in Biological and Agricultural Engineering from Kansas State University, in Manhattan, Kansas. He is also extremely active in professional societies and presently serves as the Chair of Executive Committee on Global Engagement American Society of Agricultural and Biological Engineers (ASABE).
