Campbell University Offers the Nation’s Only Degree Program in Trust & Wealth Management

Sponsored Content provided by Tyler Britton, J.D. - Director, Master of Trust and Wealth Management Program, Professor of Trust, Lundy-Fetterman School of Business, Campbell University

Campbell University’s Master of Trust and Wealth Management (MTWM) program stands out as the only program of its kind in the country that offers an advanced degree in the area of trust & wealth management. Equipping graduate students with key fiduciary skills that enable them to succeed in any finance or wealth management discipline, the MTWM program is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs.

Gaining deep experience with financial topics such as estate and trust administration, personal financial planning, portfolio management, tax planning, and insurance, graduates of the MTWM program enjoy over a 95 percent job placement rate upon completion of the program. This remarkable job placement rate is due, in part, to the strong relationships Campbell maintains with banks and financial departments nationwide who are eager to recruit MTWM graduates due to their in-demand technical skills and hands-on experience.

Aside from benefiting from Campbell’s strong connections with the financial industry, MTWM graduates also complete the educational prerequisites to sit for the CFP® (Certified Financial Planner) exam. Then, once graduates fulfill the work experience requirements set by the American Bankers Association, they will have the opportunity to pursue a CTFA (Certified Trust and Financial Adviser) designation, further advancing their career.

Taught by faculty with extensive industry experience, the MTWM program offers flexible options. Students can complete the program fully online or attend classes in person at Campbell’s downtown Raleigh campus. The length of the program ranges from one to two years, depending on the number of credit hours students take at one time. To learn more visit Business.Campbell.edu

Campbell’s Trust and Wealth Management program receives strong support from the Trust Education Foundation, Inc. (TEF), which was formed in 1971 with a specific mission to support Campbell’s Trust and Wealth Management Program. With a Board of Directors composed of senior managers from the nation’s premier financial institutions, the Foundation provides curriculum oversight and various educational programs. One of the biggest educational offerings is the upcoming Annual Trust Advisors Forum, in Pinehurst, North Carolina, which brings together experienced trust and wealth management professionals, attorneys, and other leading industry experts for an intensive four-day conference.

This year’s 32nd Annual Trust Advisors Forum will be held from February 26 to March 1 at the Pinehurst Resort in Pinehurst. With a focus on networking and exchange of ideas among a broad range of financial industry professionals, the Trust Advisors Forum will cover topics related to estate and financial planning, taxation, fiduciary law, compliance issues, market outlooks, regulatory challenges, business development strategies, and more.

In addition to exceptional networking opportunities, attendees of the Trust Advisors Forum are eligible for continuing education credits to keep their certifications valid. If you are in the trust or wealth management field, we hope you will consider joining Campbell University in Pinehurst later this month. Find more information on the Forum at: TrustEducationFoundation.com/trust-advisors-forum.

If you are not quite ready to enroll in a graduate program, know that Campbell University also offers an undergraduate degree in trust management, which is the nation’s only undergraduate program of its kind. We look forward to preparing more students to take their place as leaders in the financial services industry.
