Rollease Acmeda, a worldwide company in the window covering industry, hosted a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Aug. 4, 2025. This event marks the beginning of its operations at the new state-of-the-art facility in Cumberland County.

“The new Fayetteville facility provides us with further capacity and expansion opportunities to better support our customer base,” said Derick Marsh, CEO at Rollease Acmeda, in a press release. “We have a 40+ year tradition of producing our industry leading clutches and related components here in the US, and we are excited to keep those operations and jobs here domestically.”

In June, the Town of Hope Mills approved an economic development incentive to encourage the company to move forward with the expansion into Hope Mills. The grant provides Rollease Acmeda with a $750 grant per job created (not to exceed $33,750). Details about the stipulations of the grant can be found here

With over 100,000 square feet of distribution space, the facility located off Tom Starling Road will serve as the hub for the Americas region. The company has also dedicated space to manufacturing and is projected to produce over a million units annually.

"The Town of Hope Mills is excited to welcome Rollease Acmeda to our community as this

company brings value in terms of job creation and economic growth that will have a positive

impact in the Cumberland County area," said Hope Mills Mayor Jessie Bellflowers in a press release.

Operations will create at least 50 local jobs, paying a competitive salary and benefit package.

"This project is a great announcement for our manufacturing sector," said FCEDC President and

CEO Robert Van Geons in a press release. "We want to recognize and thank our friends at SkyRem and Newmark for proactively investing in our community and bringing this company to Hope Mills".
