Patriots Path invites Veterans, military spouses, and active duty personnel who are in career transition to join them in the new year for their "Post-Military Career Transition Strategies" five-part course.

Participants can attend either virtually from Jan 9-13 or in-person from Jan 23-27 on Fort Bragg from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. EST each day.

Patriots Path provides an in-depth description of the course on their website, https://patriots-path.org. Some of the exciting benefits of the course include:

  • Assessments
    • Their online Birkman personality/interests assessment helps participants to better understand their interests, style, needs and stress reactions.
  • Coaches & mentors
    • In addition to group workshops, Patriots Path offers one-on-one sessions with corporate volunteers.
    • These sessions focus on resume writing, mock interviews, job shadowing and peer-to-peer support.
  • Long-term Support
    • Instructors are available for additional support following class completion.
  • Professional community
    • Graduates have ongoing access beyond the workshop to the community of veterans, career mentors and veteran-friendly employers.
    • They will also have access to their closed group on LinkedIn.

According to their webpage, Patriots Path is a non-profit organization that supports veterans, transitioning service members, and military spouses in finding meaningful employment opportunities by defining career goals, mapping out job search strategies, identifying opportunities, creating a marketing approach and connecting within their community to peers, mentors and coaches for continued networking and support.

Registration is free for Service Members, Veterans, and Military Spouses at https://patriots-path.org.

Attendance is limited, so interested individuals are encouraged to register early.

GFBJ reached out to the organizers of the course for a comment on the program, but they have not yet offered a response.
