Moore County Partners in Progress has officially changed its name to Moore County Economic Development Partnership.
Natalie Dean Hawkins, President of the newly renamed Moore County Economic Development Partnership, explained that the rebrand serves to “present a professional image to those outside of our community who are looking to come to it.”
“...I’ve gotten comments from board members and community members that say this provides a more defined mission of our effort that’s going to lead to new areas of focus in job creation and commerce…Comments like, just tons of comments like ‘I love it.’ ‘Congratulations.’ ‘This is a cool rebranding’…all kinds of great, great feedback,” Hawkins commented.
The Moore County Economic Development Partnership team worked with First Flight Agency, a local agency in Southern Pines to solidify their plan for the rebrand. In the process of the rebrand they worked to combine two different websites into one website that encompassed all of the content.
“...what I really liked about their approach was [that] they didn’t dive straight into content. We spent a lot of time upfront talking about who are the primary users of the site, what are they going to be looking for, what type of tone of voice should the site have, And we really spent a lot of time upfront on color schemes and logos, that I think really helped us when we got into the actual site content in laying the site out and taking the taking the content from two different websites, and combining them…” shared Hawkins.
The new logo was designed by Keith Borshak.
“I’m really excited to be able to present a new and updated image of our organization, and I think it’s going to serve us really well in the future as we try to recruit jobs and capital investment to our community,” concluded Hawkins.
