Southern Pines Brewing announces new distribution partnership with the Anheuser-Busch network in 90 NC counties

By Staff Report, posted 1 year ago

Southern Pines Brewing Company, a Veteran-owned company celebrating its 10th year in business, has announced a new distribution agreement with the Anheuser-Busch Wholesaler Network for 90 counties in North Carolina.

The new partnership will cover territories from Murphy, NC to Corolla, NC. Distributed statewide in North Carolina since 2018, and South Carolina since 2023, this new distribution alignment will allow them to connect with even more communities across the state.

CEO and Co-Founder, Micah Niebauer said in a press release, "We couldn't be more excited for this new partnership. Working alongside these family-owned companies that have generations of history in their areas perfectly aligns with our motto of being ‘Rooted in the Community.’”

"We are thrilled to add Southern Pines Brewing to our family of North Carolina brewers," said Jay Harris of Harris Beverages. "Their ethos of service and community perfectly align with who we are as a business; coupled with the fact they make great beer makes it a natural partnership."

Southern Pines Brewing is excited to expand their distribution network to be included in one of North Carolina’s largest craft brand portfolios. Their core value of being rooted in the community aligns with the values of their new wholesale distributing partners and quality of the products in their collections.

“It all starts with the people… We recognized very early on in the relationship that the two cultures mirrored one another," said Eric Monsess, General Manager, Craft Division, in a press release. "When it’s meant to be, you work twice as hard to make it happen! We are beyond excited to enter into this new Partnership with a top-notch local craft brewery offering solid core brands along with a never ending explosion of innovation keeping the brewery relevant with the ever changing consumer demands!”

The new wholesalers now distributing Southern Pines Brewing beer around the state are Bud of Asheville, Adams Beverages, Standard Distributors, R.H Barringer Distributing Company, Harris Beverages, Carolina Eagle and OBX Beverages.

Southern Pines Brewing will still be distributed by long-term partner Healy Wholesale in the nine counties of the Sandhills of North Carolina, and they will retain the distribution rights for their home county of Moore where they proudly self-distribute.

The Hive of Hope Mills is open for business: Big T's serves as anchor tenant

Big T’s has been a local favorite of Hope Mills since 2000 when Timmy (Big T) and Donna Gray first opened right on Hope Mills Lake. It is a seasonal restaurant, so many of Big T’s loyal customers were happy to hear they would now be open year-round, seven days a week.
