A California-based IT and business consulting company is expanding to Cumberland County, creating 50 remote call center jobs. 

The growth strategy of Fortuna BMC, Inc. is to hire and train skilled talents, such as post-service military members, veterans, and military spouses.

"Creating these types of employment opportunities for and within our local community brings financial stability, and it eases the post-service transition for many veterans. Fortuna BMC provides customized information technology solutions, including contact center support, enterprise resource planning, information security, project management, business engineering, and organizational change management.

Additionally, Fortuna BMC has collaborated with the local community and educational organizations on workforce development and hiring initiatives, such as Fayetteville State University, Fayetteville Technical Community College, NCWorks Career Center, Center for Economic Empowerment & Development, and more.
