ERA Strother Real Estate celebrates achievements with annual awards

Team members of ERA Strother were honored for their achievements in the real estate industry for 2023 at their annual ERA Strother Awards Ceremony held on Wednesday, March 6, at the Cape Fear Botanical Garden. Real estate agents and managers gathered dressed in their best masquerade masks were honored with 20 categories to receive recognition along with an evening of dining and dancing and the chance to let loose. 

The following awards were given to agents of ERA Strother based in their Fayetteville and Sanford offices.  

The Loyalty and Longevity Award honoring those who have been with ERA Strother for five- nine years:

The Medal Award recognizes ERA Strother Agents’ production levels from the previous year. They range from the Bronze to the Diamond Award.

The Bronze Award: These agents are working hard to achieve success. This medal recognizes those agents who have a production of up to $1,000,000.

These awards are given to agents who have been placed in a category designated by ERA’s Corporate partners.

The Circle of Honor serves to recognize ERA Sales Associates whose efforts and skills are bringing them into the realm of ERA Top Producers and Industry Influencers. These honorees are the foundation of ERA's future as the company moves towards achieving more success. The qualifiers for the Circle of Honor are 25 closed units and 3 million in volume for the year.

This award goes to the ERA Strother agent that has referred the most homes or tenants to Empower Commercial Group. The working relationship between property manager and agent is very intricate and trusting in the rental department as a holding tank or referred ancillary is key to everyone’s success.

The Above and Beyond Award is given to the agent who has provided outstanding service to our referred clients and members. The Above and Beyond winner is also recognized as someone who goes the extra mile, literally and figuratively.

This award is given to the agent that has showcased their support by giving back to the Relocation Department and enrolling their clients into an Affinity program, such as Anywhere Military Rewards, Navy Federal Realty Plus and Friends and Family.

The Star of Excellence Award is presented to the relocation agent proven to be a true” National Agent,” assisting their clients here and globally with simply that...excellence. This award goes to the individual who assists all clients with vigor and determination. It reflects the highest standards of relocation and service.

This award is presented to the agent who consistently exceeds in all categories across the board. This individual always goes above and beyond, always provides Affinity opportunities for their
clients and always conducts their business with nothing less than excellence in service.

Relocation Awards: Team Player of the Year

The Team Player Award is an annual favorite. This award is bestowed on the individual (agent or staff) that everyone counts on. They are always willing to lend a hand, answer questions and assist those that are in need. Oftentimes, they have several duties – the most important being the one that rallies the company each and every day.

The ERA Strother organization also received recognition on a corporate level by receiving the ERA Unity Award for Cultivating an Inclusive Community. 

The ERA Unity Award honors the ERA Real Estate Company that demonstrates inclusiveness in their business practices. From working to achieve and sustain minority homeownership to transacting business in a culturally competent manner, the winner of the Unity Award works to create an inclusive community. 

Some of the required criteria include print and/or online marketing using more than one language, completion of National Association of Realtors diversity training and a commitment to a diverse workforce and client base. 

ERA Vice President of Franchise Performance Carissa Mucci joined in the celebration to present the award on behalf of the corporation. She commented on to good work taking place at ERA Strother in a written statement to GFBJ stating: 

“ERA Strother Real Estate works hard every day to ensure that they create inclusivity in the communities they serve. Their leadership team and agents believe that it is their job to help everyone have a chance to own a home. I can’t think of a company that better embodies the spirit of the ERA Unity Award and I’m proud to work alongside leaders who work to make their communities better every day.” 

The final award of the night was the Hall of Fame Award presented by Denise Strother herself. 

The Hall of Fame was established to recognize those associates whose contributions to the profession and service to the Firm have been significant, substantial and long-standing. Members of the Hall of Fame have a demonstrated history of career achievement, sustained commitment to the advancement of the profession and significant contributions to all; as well as conduct themselves with professionalism among their peers.

The night also ended with the announcement of new leadership. ERA Strother will be moving forward under a new Broker In Charge at their Festival Park location in Fayetteville. Realtor Ricky Evans will be taking on the position. President and former acting Broker in Charge Hampton Rutledge will be staying on as president.
