The Arts Council of Fayetteville/Cumberland County is proud to announce the election of five new Trustees to its Board of Directors. The new members bring a broad spectrum of experience and community engagement to the Arts Council’s leadership, strengthening its mission to support and promote the arts across the region.
Elected to serve a three-year term on the Board of Trustees are:
- Dorothy Strahley, Assistant General Manager at the Crown Complex
- Dr. Casey Benander, Doctor of Physical Therapy and owner of The Haymount Body Mechanic
- Ebony Warfield-Graham, Manager of Parking Operations, City of Fayetteville
- Ellen Cooper, Strategic Relationship Manager, FirstHealth of the Carolinas
In addition, the Arts Council welcomes Kevin Elmore, a multimedia artist and student at Fayetteville Technical Community College, who will serve a one-year term as the student representative on the Board.
Each of these new trustees brings a unique set of experiences and a shared passion for the arts and community advancement. Their combined backgrounds span municipal leadership, healthcare, entrepreneurship, performing arts, and cultural development—further enhancing the Arts Council’s commitment to inclusive representation and strategic growth.
Several current trustees were also re-elected to serve additional terms:
- Luis Collazo – Continued Three-Year Term
- Dominique Womack – Continued Two-Year Term
- Caitlyn Barnett – Continued One-Year Term
