Sandhills Community College offers new pre-employment training in partnership with Dracoe

Sandhills Community College has partnered with Dracoe to offer on-site pre-employment training for open positions for Mechanical Assembly Technician and Electrical Assembly Technician. Those who attend the no-cost training are eligible for guaranteed interviews for positions with pay starting at $20 and up.

The event will be held on Wednesday, Aug. 26 and Thursday, Aug. 27 from 7:30 to 10:30 a.m. on the Pinehurst campus.

Dracoe manufactures high-tech drones and related technologies used to support national defense and security. Their work includes building the aircraft themselves, integrating sophisticated electronics and sensors, developing the software that allows drones to operate, and manufacturing components at scale.
