Update: On Tuesday, May 17, the FirstHealth Convenient Care clinic hosted its ribbon-cutting ceremony. In attendance were invited guests and members of the Greater Fayetteville Chamber.

“This marks the 11 convenient care clinic that we have opened and the first in Cumberland County,” stated Barnes at the ceremony. “Oftentimes there’s things in life that come up like a cold or flu symptoms, COVID-19, sprains and strains that don’t really require a trip to the emergency department that do require more urgent evaluation, especially after afters or on weekends.”

Along with convenient care, occupational health, interventional pain medicine, vascular and orthopedics, the clinic will also be offering neurosurgery, thoracic surgery, and urogynecology.

“Cumberland County residents no longer have to drive to Pinehurst to be able to receive these outstanding specialties that FirstHealth offers,” added Barnes.
