The greater Fayetteville community is invited to contribute non-perishable food items to support those who serve our nation.
Recognizing the current financial pressures faced by military families and the need for immediate, tangible support within the Fort Bragg community, the Greater Fayetteville
Chamber Military Affairs Council (MAC) is hosting Operation Patriot Pantry, an installation food drive to support Fort Bragg soldiers and their families.
The MAC has partnered with The Armed Services YMCA Fort Bragg, Two Men And A Truck, Blue Star Families, Fort Bragg Federal Credit Union and the Highland Centre to host the event.
From now until Tuesday, Nov. 17, drop off sites are available at the Fort Bragg Federal Credit Union Skibo (1650 Skibo Road) and Raeford (7840 Raeford Road locations.
The community can drop off non-perishable items such as:

On Thursday, Nov. 19, from 11 a.m. - 2 p.m. a moving van, generously provided by Two Men and a Truck, and the MAC team will be on-site at the Highland Shopping Center parking lot at 2800 Raeford Road in Fayetteville to continue to collect donations.
"Our mission with the Military Affairs Council has always been to stand shoulder-to-shoulder with our military community," said retired U.S. Army Col. and Military Affairs Council Chair Rob Patton. "Right now, the most meaningful way we can do that is by easing the immediate financial strains on our Fort Bragg soldiers and their families."
The goal will be to fill the truck and donations left at the Fort Bragg Federal Credit Union will also be brought to the collection site.
Representatives will be available to assist with loading supplies and receipts for donations will be made available upon request.

The Greater Fayetteville Chamber and its Military Affairs Council encourages businesses and individuals across the region to contribute to this vital effort.
“The families stationed at Fort Bragg give everything to protect our country's freedom day in and day out,” Greater Fayetteville Chamber President/CEO Nat Robertson said. “This food drive is a way for the Greater Fayetteville business community to show our profound gratitude.”
