Daisy serves as the Interim Director for Career Services. She provides strategic leadership for a team responsible for developing, implementing, and evaluating recruiting systems, programs, and events that connect employers with the university's students, faculty, and alumni. Her portfolio includes career development, career counseling, job search and placement assistance, personal and professional development, a history of cultivating key partnerships with schools/colleges and leadership development programs on campus, high impact practices, advancement, and alumni affairs. This oversight includes focusing on areas such as paid internships, employer relations, assisting students near graduation or graduating and alumni with job search and career development/job readiness for successful and gainful employment.
She also manages the Title III Grant for the office and Peer Career Coaches (PCCs). Prior to her current role, Daisy has served as Assistant Director, the Lead Career Coach for the Broadwell College of Business and Economics, College of Health Science and Technology and as Internship Coordinator.
Prior to joining the University and the Career Services team, Daisy worked for a Restaurant Group as a Restaurant Manager. Daisy received her Master of Arts in Human Services with an emphasis in Counseling (2008) and a Master of Science in Management (2009) from Liberty University and her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (2000) from Fayetteville State University.
