Mark Sorrells has served as the Senior Vice President for Academic and Student Services for Fayetteville Technical Community College since January 2019. His responsibilities at the College include coordinating over 86 programs of study, continuing education, as well as student services and academic supports available to the more than 34,000 students. Prior to coming to FTCC, Mark was the Senior Vice President at the Golden LEAF Foundation (GLF). In addition to serving as the Chief Operating Officer, he led statewide workforce programs of the GLF Board of Directors including the Essential Skills in Advanced Manufacturing, Bio-Manufacturing Workforce Training Initiative, the Aerospace Manufacturing Training Program, the NC Digital Learning Technology Initiative, and STEM Initiative. Previous employment included working as the executive director for a statewide non-profit and teaching in the NC Community College System.
