Karma Spa Lounge & Beauty Bar is a full-service salon and spa offering affordable luxury in the Sandhills of North Carolina.
With the excitement surrounding the return of the U.S. Women’s Open hosted at Pine Needles Lodge & Golf Course, Moore County’s community has been steadily preparing for a week of hospitality and golf.
Karma Spa Lounge & Beauty Bar will provide exclusive access to its facility for players in the tournament and their families throughout the week and allows the guests to relax, unwind, and recover.
This week Karma Spa Lounge & Beauty Bar will be offering 22 percent off any service for players and their families. Additionally, the business will stay open later on Tuesday and Thursday from 5-8 p.m. to offer VIP treatment as well as a massage therapy staff on Friday.
"At Karma Spa Lounge & Beauty Bar, we cultivate more than beauty. You deserve adult time where you can quiet your mind, soothe your soul, and elevate your confidence,” said Angela Robb, founder of Karma Spa Lounge & Beauty Bar in a press release. “We invite you to enjoy a beverage, relaxing music, and an upscale spa atmosphere. Be you. Be beautiful."
Robb began cutting hair in junior high and knew that it was what she was meant to do.
The purpose of Karma Spa Lounge & Beauty Bar is to cultivate inner and outer beauty, by providing women’s and men’s haircuts and colors, manicure, pedicure, make-up and bridal, massage, and tanning.
“So many of the clients that I was seeing before I opened Karma, we’re so busy taking care of their kids, friends, spouses and rarely taking care of ourselves without feeling guilt and I just thought that we should be doing something different,” added Robb. “In reality, if we don’t take care of ourselves, then we’re not going to be able to keep giving back. The name Karma is a circle of us being able to continue giving and taking care of others, as long as we are giving and taking care of ourselves.”
The business was founded in 2012, the company will celebrate its ten-year anniversary in December 2022.
“I have the most amazing team of 28 people that make everyone feel good when they come in the door and make them be able to forget and escape the outside world, even if just for an hour or two,” said Robb. “This team is great. They are diverse with different backgrounds and races. It’s an amazing place to be and to surround yourself with and makes it a fun place to come into.”
