The congested, two-lane roads will be upgraded into four lanes with a raised median and concrete curbs and gutters and drainage structures. In addition, multilane roundabouts will be built at Rockfish and Golfview roads and at Park Boulevard and Rockfish Road.
Construction is expected to begin this spring and take until the spring of 2028 to complete.

Then, traffic will be shifted onto the new section until the four-lane road can be completed and fully opened. Drivers should slow down and be alert for construction workers and equipment when traveling in this area.
