Tracey Jones-Brooks REALTOR®, ABR®, is eager to continue growing her business in Fayetteville, and a new office space is going to help make that dream a reality.

Jones-Brooks is an N.C. native who began her career in social work before pivoting to real estate in 2019. After becoming licensed she signed with Elevate Real Estate Partners. She created her own firm in 2020 but remained with Elevate for several years before building enough experience and confidence to fully pursue running her own firm, TJB Realty, in November of 2024.

Jones-Brooks had been operating the business from her home until Sept. 1, 2026, when the business moved into its first office located at 1008 Hay St., Fayetteville, N.C.

“I decided to expand simply because it felt like it was time as we’re growing,” explained Jones-Brooks.

Jones-Brooks expanded her team to include Associate Broker Kari Nicolay and is planning to hire an additional agent in January as well as a transaction coordinator to allow Jones-Brooks and the other agents more time with clients.

Jones-Brooks shared that her favorite part of her job is meeting new people and helping them reach their homebuying goals.

“I love problem solving. I love when people [say] ‘No, I can’t do it,” and then we figure something out, and it’s able to be done. First-time home homebuyers…the excitement that they get from when they get that pre-approval until the day of closing, it’s like the best thing ever,” shared Jones-Brooks.

Jones-Brooks attributes the business’s growth to her hands-on, customer-centric approach.

“All the work that I have, it comes from referrals right now. I don’t buy leads …it’s all word of mouth, and I’ve always given people a level of service where it’s an experience – not just the typical customer service, but a customer experience,” shared Jones-Brooks.

Jones-Brooks primarily works in residential real estate, but also handles property management, affordable and Section 8 rentals, commercial properties, land and buildings. She mainly serves Cumberland County and also works in the Triangle area.

Although she didn’t start her professional journey as a real estate agent, she believes her interdisciplinary knowledge and experience working with people from all walks of life help her better understand and serve clients in this industry. She shared that she doesn’t shy away from individuals who don’t have the best credit score or may not have kept all of their records in perfect order.

“We figure it out together. We figure out the credit problem together. We figure out what needs to be done, as far as ‘Okay, you need an accountant [or] you need someone to help you with your taxes.’ We figure that out, and you don’t have to do that alone. If someone doesn’t get approved, it’s not ‘Oh, you didn’t get approved and on to the next.’ We follow up; we keep in touch. I give them the resources, and not just give them the resources; I follow up to make sure that they understand,” shared Jones-Brooks.

With a love for Fayetteville and a love for people, Jones-Brooks is excited to see TJB Realty continue to grow and to help more people find their next home.
