A new sushi dining experience is on its way to Cross Creek Mall.

Rockin’ Rolls Sushi Express, is branching out from its original home in Raleigh and taking up residence in the former Newk's Eatery location.

According to the Restaurant’s website: “Rockin’ Roll Sushi is a unique way to provide delicious Sushi to Sushi lovers. Fresh made sushi placed on a conveyor belt pass your table. Simply grab what you like and enjoy the great taste. We proudly offer fresh sushi with NO MSG, NO artificial coloring, and NO chemical food preservatives.”

A member of the communications team for the restaurant confirmed with the Greater Fayetteville Business Journal that the restaurant is currently leasing the space and is hoping to open in fall of 2023.

“The exact date will depend on the progress of interior decoration and other factors. We are eagerly preparing to bring our unique dining experience to the community,” said the team member.

The only other location for the brand is located at 9650 Strickland Road in Raleigh,

And while this will be their second location, the representative shared there are no plans for franchising as of now.
