Spinners Pizza, a beloved local pizza joint that operated for years before closing in 2017, is being revived by a former long-term employee.

Heather Jadwick worked for the original owners for 12 years, including 10 in management. Now, Jadwick is bringing the business back for former regulars and new customers to enjoy.

“A few months ago, the lady that was renting from them informed them that she was going to be leaving, and so they [the building owners] contacted me...they were like, ‘Hey, the building's going to be available. What do you think? If you want to do this, you can own it, and we'll give you the recipes, and we'll rent it to you.’ And I jumped on it,” shared Jadwick.

Menu items will be much of the same as before, with hits like the taco pizza, monkey bread and house made ranch returning.

“I'll have the same recipes. I'm going to do the pizza buffet like we used to…the community is very invested in this, and they love spinners, and so I want to keep it pretty much the same. You know, nine years things do change. However, I want to bring the nostalgia and Spinners back to the community. It's very well loved,” added Jadwick.

Jadwick shared that they’ve started installing new carpet, booths and equipment to prepare for opening. She hopes to open up within the next few months.

“It'll be so nice to see the familiar faces and serve Fayetteville again,” added Jadwick.

The original owners, Spero and Helen Poulos, will be on site helping with the opening. Spinners Pizza will reopen in its former location, 2805 Raeford Road, Fayetteville, N.C., 28303.
