The Coffee Scene, a longtime staple in Fayetteville serving customers for almost three decades, has just announced it has permanently closed. This news comes just over a year after Stacey and Chad Chapman purchased the business and assumed ownership of it.
All three locations, the main store on Morganton Road, The Coffee Scene at the Prince Charles and The Coffee Scene - Womack AMC on Fort Bragg, are now officially closed as of today, April 8. The announcement made by the brand on social media did not include any details as to why there was a sudden cessation of operations.
The Journal attempted to contact Chapman for comment, but received an automated reply that the business was no longer in service.
