Dr. Stewart has been elected as the Region 6 Director for the North Carolina Association of County Boards of Social Services (NCACBSS). Additionally, Dr. Stewart was named to the Health and Human Services Steering Committee of the North Carolina Association of County Commissioners (NCACC). The NCACC serves as the collective voice for North Carolina’s 100 counties, providing advocacy, research, risk management and leadership training. More information is available at ncacc.org.
“I am deeply honored by these appointments and grateful for the opportunity to contribute to these vital statewide organizations,” said Dr. Stewart in a press release. “These roles will allow me to work closely with colleagues across the state to enhance our collective efforts in supporting vulnerable populations and improving public health services.”
