
Fayetteville City Council members approved 54 residents to serve on Boards and Commissions effective Oct. 1. Council took the action during the Sept. 8 City Council regular meeting.
Boards and commissions consist of volunteers who are appointed by City Council to serve as the link that connects residents to its governing body and serve as advisors that help shape the policies and programs of Fayetteville.

Big T’s has been a local favorite of Hope Mills since 2000 when Timmy (Big T) and Donna Gray first opened right on Hope Mills Lake. It is a seasonal restaurant, so many of Big T’s loyal customers were happy to hear they would now be open year-round, seven days a week.
