Pfeifer’s background includes leading multidisciplinary teams, managing complex budgets and implementing systems that improve accountability and service delivery. Her experience supports modern animal services operations, including shelter management, field services coordination and data informed decision making.
“Diane’s experience in strategic planning, operations and organizational transformation, combined with her passion for animal welfare, will help lead our dedicated Animal Services department into its next chapter,” said County Manager Clarence Grier in a press release. “Her appointment reflects our commitment to recognizing and promoting strong leaders from within our organization.”
