Callahan & Rice Insurance Group named a top employer in NC

By Staff Report, posted 2 months ago

Callahan & Rice Insurance Group was recognized as a 2026 NC Best Employer, ranking #2 among Small Businesses and #4 Overall in North Carolina by Business North Carolina.

“While I'm honored by the recognition, what I'm most thankful for is the team that made it possible. Awards don't create culture. People do,” shared Landon Bentham in a post to LinkedIn. “Our employees have built a workplace centered on learning, accountability, service, and genuine care for one another. They are the reason our clients stay with us, our partners trust us, and our organization continues to grow.”

According to Business NC’s website, the Best Employers in North Carolina is a survey and awards program dedicated to identifying and recognizing the area’s best employers and providing organizations with valuable employee feedback. This is the 13th year Best Employers has been featured in Business North Carolina magazine.

“To our team: thank you for believing in our mission and helping transform it into reality. This recognition is a reflection of your hard work, your character and your commitment to excellence,” Bentham added on social media.
