Work Smarter, Not Harder; Bladen SBC offers free Google webinars in May and June

The Small Business Center at Bladen Community College is pleased to announce a series of webinars that will help local businesses leverage Google products to enhance their operations and reach.

By integrating Google products into their operations, small business owners can streamline processes, improve customer engagement, and position themselves for sustained growth in the digital age. 

With the recent expansion of high-speed internet access, local businesses now have the connectivity needed to utilize digital tools effectively. Google's suite of products offers affordable and user-friendly solutions that can significantly benefit small businesses in the area. Tools like Google Workspace facilitate seamless communication and collaboration, while Google Ads and Google My Business enhance online visibility, helping businesses attract and retain customers.

The webinars will be held on Thursdays starting May 1 from 6-8 p.m.. Registration is required for these free webinars. Small business owners can attend one or all of the webinars:

Get Your Business Online with Google - May 1, 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.

Learn about Google My Business, a free tool for local businesses who want to connect with customers on Google Search and Maps. Get hands-on help creating or updating your business profile or a simple website.

Reach Customers Online with Google - May 8, 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.

Learn how customers find your business online and how to promote your business using Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and Smart Campaigns in Google Ads.

Using Data to Drive Business Growth - May 15, 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.

Learn best practices and analyze trends about how customers engage with your business online, then turn these insights into well-informed, actionable decisions.

Digital Skills for Everyday Tasks - May 22, 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.

Learn how to manage work and life tasks more effectively using Google tools. Whether you want to build a budget, create a meeting agenda or organize your priorities, these best practices will boost your productivity.

Being Strategic with Social Media - June 5, 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.

Utilizing social media can be a great way to connect with current and prospective customers and to build your brand. But how? Which platforms should you choose? What content should you post? How do you make it manageable and not so overwhelming?  During this seminar we will share ways to strategically capitalize on social media because being strategic with your social media can make all the difference!
