Sponsored Content provided by Colby Warren

Cape Fear Valley Health is reshaping orthopedic care in southeastern North Carolina with its ever-expanding network of clinics and comprehensive services. With the recent addition of Cape Fear Orthopedics & Sports Medicine to its system, Cape Fear Valley now operates eight orthopedic clinics across Cumberland, Harnett, Hoke, Moore, and Sampson counties. This integration enhances access to a wide array of advanced orthopedic treatments for patients of all ages, from pediatric to geriatric care.

The incorporation of Cape Fear Orthopedics & Sports Medicine this year brings the total number of orthopedic providers at Cape Fear Valley to over 25, offering patients exceptional care close to home. Whether dealing with acute injuries like fractures or chronic conditions, such as osteoarthritis, residents throughout the region now have access to world-class orthopedic solutions within their communities.

Cape Fear Valley Health’s orthopedic services include hip, knee, and shoulder replacements; ligament repairs; arthroscopic surgeries; and sports medicine treatments. The clinics also help patients address conditions such as carpal tunnel syndrome, trigger fingers, and neck and back pain.

Patients at Cape Fear Valley Health have access to advanced therapies like ultrasound-guided cortisone injections, hydro-dissection for frozen shoulder, and Xiaflex treatments for Dupuytren’s disease, the only FDA-approved nonsurgical option for this condition.

When more extensive intervention is required, Cape Fear Valley Health’s orthopedic specialists use cutting-edge technologies that enable minimally invasive surgeries, robotic-assisted joint replacements, regenerative medicine therapies, and more. These approaches minimize recovery time, reduce pain, and improve outcomes for patients.

Most of Cape Fear Valley’s orthopedic physicians are fellowship-trained, ensuring specialized expertise across a wide range of conditions. This patient-centered approach allows the system to guide individuals through the full continuum of care, from diagnosis and treatment to rehabilitation.

As an added bonus, Cape Fear Valley Health offers a Joint Replacement Club, a program designed to enhance the surgical experience for hip and knee replacement patients. The Joint Replacement Club focuses on pre-surgery preparation, inpatient care, and post-operative rehabilitation, emphasizing group physical therapy and encouraging patient mobility.

With eight orthopedic clinics and a team of specialists in their field, Cape Fear Valley Health can efficiently treat a multitude of orthopedic issues and ensure patients receive the care they need without extensive travel.

As the health system continues to expand its orthopedic offerings, Cape Fear Valley Health remains committed to improving the quality of life for the communities it serves. From state-of-the-art procedures to compassionate care, the health system is setting a new standard for orthopedic excellence in southeastern North Carolina.
