Melody is a Certified Destination Management Executive, and worked for the Fayetteville Area Visitors Bureau in communications and marketing programs for 20 years. She currently works from home as a Communications Associate for an association management Company based in Raleigh. She is on the board of directors for the Hope Mills Chamber of commerce. She is writing a book, "100 Things to do in Fayetteville Before You Die," which will come out in the fall of 2023.
