A new home and hardware option will soon be in full operation in Fayetteville.

Lori’s Ace Home & Hardware will be located in the former Stein Mart building at 2800 Raeford Road, Suite 24A in the Highland Center shopping mall. True to the Ace brand, Lori’s Ace will provide an elevated service experience and high-quality product selection from best brands like Yeti, Stihl, Milwaukee, Big Green Egg, Traeger, and Benjamin Moore.

“From the very first time we came to Fayetteville, we heard and felt the excitement from the community around getting an Ace store,” said Lori Tracy Stobbe, president and co-owner, in a press release. “We’re looking forward to bringing convenience, quality and service to town, making a positive impact in the community, and providing an experience that people of all ages will enjoy.”

This is the first Ace store for owners Lori Tracy Stobbe and Nate Stobbe, who moved to Fayetteville from Minneapolis-St. Paul, Minnesota in June 2022 specifically to bring the well-known and trusted Ace brand to the community. They opened an Ace Handyman Services franchise in September 2022 in Fayetteville, a 5-star handyman service for those who want quality, multi-skilled help for their home repair and improvement projects.

Lori has over 25 years of experience leading and developing marketing and communications for national, regional and local businesses. Nate has over 30 years of experience in construction and manufacturing Management.

The hiring process is underway and open positions include Sales Associate and Cashier. Lori’s Ace is looking for employees who enjoy learning new skills, having conversations with customers to uncover their needs, offering solutions, and providing superior service with a smile. Lori shared that they plan to hire about 15 people.

“We have seen a lot of excitement in town for a locally owned hardware store. And we’re going to have so much more than a traditional hardware store, including patio furniture, home décor and gifts, toys and games, and a garden center with live plants,” shared Lori.
