Cumberland County Library upgrades print services

By Staff Report, posted 1 year ago

The Cumberland County Public Library is upgrading print services (copy, fax, print and scan) with new multi-function machines at all eight locations this week. The key feature of this upgrade is the introduction of a new payment system that replaces the VendaCard system. The new system enables library patrons to pay using cash and coins, credit and debit cards and Android and ApplePay.

Implementation of the new multi-function machines began Monday, Jan. 13, at the Headquarters Library and continues through Thursday, Jan. 16. During each location’s scheduled implementation date, public computers and all printing services will be unavailable. Patrons who require computer or printing services are encouraged to visit an alternate library. All other library services remain unaffected. The installation schedule is follows:

  • Monday, Jan. 13 – Headquarters Library
  • Tuesday, Jan. 14 – North Regional Library, Spring Lake Community Library
  • Wednesday, Jan. 15 – Bordeaux Community Library, Hope Mills Community Library, West Regional Library
  • Thursday, Jan. 16 – Cliffdale Regional Library, East Regional Library
