Small Business RoundTable to focus on Business Insurance Oct. 26

By Staff Report, posted 1 hour ago

Small business owners and aspiring entrepreneurs are invited to attend the upcoming Small Business RoundTable on Monday, Oct. 26, from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at Bladen Community College. The session will focus on business insurance and how the right coverage can help protect businesses from unexpected risks.

Anne Beyer of Farm Bureau Insurance will serve as the featured speaker, discussing the types of insurance business owners should consider as they start, operate, and grow their businesses.

Participants will learn about a variety of coverage options, including workers’ compensation, general liability, commercial property, building and equipment coverage, tools and inventory, commercial auto, professional liability and business interruption insurance. The discussion will help attendees better understand potential risks, identify coverage needs, and make informed decisions about protecting their businesses.

“Understanding business insurance is an important part of building a strong, sustainable business,” said Terri Dennison, Small Business Center director, in a press release. “This RoundTable will give business owners an opportunity to learn about available coverage options and gain a better understanding of how insurance can help protect their investments.”

The Small Business RoundTable will be held in Building 14, Room 135, on the main campus of Bladen Community College. The program is offered through the Small Business Center at Bladen Community College in partnership with the Elizabethtown-White Lake Area Chamber of Commerce.

The Small Business RoundTable is designed to connect entrepreneurs and business owners with useful information, expert guidance, and opportunities to learn from others in the local business community. The Roundtable is open to all business owners; registration is requested.
