Pinewild Country Club of Pinehurst has announced the start of construction on a comprehensive $18 million clubhouse transformation, a major reinvestment in private club living in Pinehurst, N.C.
Construction began on the clubhouse in mid-December 2025, with completion targeted for Q1 2027. Designed by S3 Design of Braintree, Mass., the project expands and reimagines Pinewild’s clubhouse as the social and cultural center of the community, strengthening the private club experience at a moment when residential interest in Pinehurst is accelerating.
The renovated clubhouse is designed to elevate everyday living at Pinewild, supporting dining, wellness, social connection and milestone events throughout the year.
“It's a down to the studs renovation, so we're not destroying the previous building, but we're adding another entire story to it,” shared Jeremy Gordon, chief marketing officer, IE Homes Clubs & Resorts.
Planned features include:
All of these renovations and additions will upgrade the existing 12,800 sq. ft. clubhouse to 26,000 sq. ft.

In addition to the clubhouse renovation, new residential neighborhoods are being constructed by the club’s real estate division, Pinewild Builders.
“We're building two new neighborhoods, one of which is underway right now, called Azalea Place. It’s 77 homes in a semi-custom luxury neighborhood that we're just launching right now. We're actually just putting the roads in. Sales launched for that at the end of October. So, with all of that going on, we wanted to not just upgrade the lifestyle, but also just make sure that there's more infrastructure in place to support all these new families that are coming in,” added Gordon.
