WS Wellons Realty, Inc. celebrated its continued commitment to sustainable community development with a ribbon-cutting to showcase its brand-new townhome community, “5th & Lake Townhomes,” alongside the revitalization of existing, adjacent residential duplex rental properties.

The rental development at Lake Avenue is designed to offer diverse, attractive housing options to meet the area’s growing demand for long-term, quality rentals.

The newly constructed 5th & Lake Townhomes were designed and built under the direction of General Contractor Jason Wellons who oversees Wellco Contractors, the construction division of WS Wellons Realty, Inc.

“The 5th & Lake Townhomes feature six newly constructed rental townhomes with a modern, attractive design and sustainable features. This new construction directly addresses the need for more rental opportunities within the community,” said Jason Wellons in a press release.

The new town homes are fully rented, with the final unit welcoming renters the day after the ribbon cutting.

Following the ribbon cutting guests were invited to tour one of the townhome units. The two-story unit features two bedrooms and three and a half bathrooms. All units are currently being rented.

WS Wellons Realty, Inc., also breathed new life into 14 existing duplex units, transforming them into attractive, effective residential rental properties. These buildings are now renting for $800-$850 per month. This revitalization effort enhances the neighborhood’s character while providing high-quality, long-term rental options for families and individuals.

In addition to residential rental properties and the recently completed residential developments of Hidden Lake and Hidden Lake, North, WS Wellons Realty’s portfolio also includes a large selection of commercial rental spaces.

“Our commercial rentals are designed to attract and support small businesses, thereby further leveraging the economic growth of the Town of Spring Lake,” stated Director of Operations Jeremy Seeland in a press release.

“WS Wellons Realty, Inc.’s development projects in Spring Lake, N.C., are more than brick and mortar construction projects,” stated President Billy Wellons in a press release. “It’s an investment and a commitment to the entire community. By simultaneously creating new homes for sale, upgrading and building additional residential rentals, as well as fostering local business with commercial realty space, we are executing a truly comprehensive strategy to help build a stronger, more vibrant and economically resilient community for everyone.”
