Bees & Boards Charcuterie & Catering Co., a reputable brand known for its made-to-order charcuterie boards and unique catering experiences, just announced the launch of a new restaurant concept which will include retail, dining, private events, grab and go and catering services.
Bees and Boards has selected downtown Fayetteville as the ideal destination for its inaugural location, located on the ground floor of the Dogwood State Bank building at 225 Green Street.
At the heart of Bees and Boards’ new restaurant concept is a unique combination of fresh, American cuisine in a market-style atmosphere highlighting seasonal, locally sourced ingredients.
The restaurant will be operated by Beth Smith and Sarahgrace Mitchell. Smith previously owned Hilltop House Restaurant and Catering for 16 years before closing in 2020. “After focusing on charcuterie boards and other popular trends in recent years, I am very eager to jump back into the kitchen and showcase new culinary art to the vibrant downtown and Fayetteville natives,” stated Smith, Executive Chef, in a press release.
Sarahgrace Mitchell is the Chief Operating Officer for Bees and Boards and will help manage event planning, marketing and community engagement. Having recently served as Executive Director of the Dogwood Festival, Mitchell has connected with many community members and looks forward to continuing to build relationships with people in the area.
“I'm looking forward to interacting with the community more on a day to day basis…With Bees and Boards, I can primarily focus on the event side and also making sure that people are having a high quality experience while dining with us,” remarked Mitchell.
Mitchell shared that there are 30 seats in the restaurant and operating hours will be Monday through Friday 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The new location of Bees and Boards is slated to open its doors on July 10, with soft open dates of July 5-7, 2023. Further updates on the opening of Bees and Boards downtown restaurant will be shared on their social media channels and website beesandboardscharcuterieco.com.
