Sandhills Community College offering Smart Money Management class beginning Oct. 20

Hoke County residents have a new educational offering coming to the area with the announcement of a Smart Money Management class being offered on the Sandhills Community College Hoke Center campus.

This continuing education course covers practical, real-world strategies to help a person:

  • Budget effectively and avoid common financial pitfalls
  • Understand credit, loans, and savings options
  • Build habits for long-term financial stability

“There is no jargon and no judgment,” said Coordinator of Workforce Skills for Career and College Readiness at SCC Sara Fusonie in a press release. “Just smart, accessible tools to help you take control of your financial future.”

Classes will run October 20 through December 8 from 5:30-7:30 p.m. at the Hoke Center campus in Raeford, N.C.

Big T’s has been a local favorite of Hope Mills since 2000 when Timmy (Big T) and Donna Gray first opened right on Hope Mills Lake. It is a seasonal restaurant, so many of Big T’s loyal customers were happy to hear they would now be open year-round, seven days a week.
