
The Moore County ABC Board is proud to announce the construction of a new warehouse facility in Southern Pines, marking a significant step forward in enhancing operational efficiency and supporting future growth across the county.
Located off Highway 22, the new 12,000-square-foot warehouse will serve as a centralized hub for inventory management, distribution and logistics for ABC stores throughout Moore County. The project reflects the Board’s commitment to modernizing infrastructure while continuing to provide exceptional service to customers and stakeholders.
“This new facility is a strategic investment in our future,” said General Manager of the Moore County ABC Craig Goodnight in a press release. “It allows us to streamline operations, improve inventory control, and better serve our community as demand continues to grow.”
Construction is expected to be completed by spring of 2026, with local contractors and suppliers contributing to the building. The warehouse will feature upgraded security systems, climate-controlled storage and energy-efficient design elements to align with sustainability goals.
The Moore County ABC Board has long been a contributor to local economic development, with revenues supporting public safety, education and community initiatives. The new warehouse is anticipated to further strengthen these efforts by improving supply chain reliability and reducing overhead costs.
Once construction is complete, a ribbon-cutting ceremony will be scheduled, with invitations extended to local officials, business leaders and community members.
