Robins & Morton, FirstHealth mark topping out of new $50M addition, renovation at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital – Hoke

Robins & Morton joined FirstHealth to celebrate the topping out of the new $50M FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital – Hoke addition and renovation in Raeford, North Carolina.

The topping out ceremony marks a significant milestone with the placement of the final steel beam, signifying the structural completion of the project.

The 50,000-square-foot facility will include a two-story addition for patient rooms, medical office building expansion, improvements to the existing infrastructure and several interior renovations.

“Topping out FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital – Hoke is an exciting milestone that reflects the dedication, collaboration, and craftsmanship of everyone involved in bringing this project to life,” Robins & Morton Operations Manager Steve Wiley said in a press release. “As we celebrate placing the final structural beam, we also recognize the lasting impact this facility will have on the Raeford and Hoke County communities. We are proud to partner with FirstHealth to create a healthcare environment that will expand access to high-quality care and serve patients and families for generations to come.”

The project, scheduled for completion in 2027, is being completed under an Integrated Project Delivery (IPD) contract. Project partners include:

  • Grace Design Studios, architect
  • WSP, MEP engineer
  • IMEG, structural engineer
  • LKC Engineering, civil engineer
  • Adams Electric, electrical trade partner
  • Gallo Mechanical, mechanical and plumbing trade partner
